Play With A Portable Active Directory Environment On AWS

Why This

Well, I wanted to spin up an AD environment and test the lights out, anywhere, anytime. Without the worry about burning dollars on EC2 when idling (99% of the time), nor dealing with the hassles that Apple Silicon Macbook Pro ( I personally enjoy working on!) can’t run x86-based VMs.

My Goal

To automatically:

• Create an environment with at least 1 domain controller and 1 client…
